First, turn on the scooter by pressing the power button

Put on a helmet and any other safety gear you have, such as knee or elbow pads

Stand next to the scooter and place one foot on the deck

Use your other foot to push off the ground and get some momentum

Once you are moving, place your other foot on the deck and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart

Use the throttle on the handlebar to control your speed. Gently twist it to accelerate and release it to slow down

To turn, lean in the direction you want to go and use the handlebars to steer

Keep a lookout for any obstacles or hazards, such as potholes or pedestrians

When you want to stop, release the throttle and use the brake on the handlebar to slow down. If your scooter has a foot brake, use that instead

Finally, when you reach your destination, turn off the scooter and step off carefully, making sure to keep your balance
